As the Customs Brokerage Manager, you will oversee the customs department at our campus in Roosendaal. Your responsibilities include supporting, preparing, and aligning operational, financial, and commercial policies for customs brokerage. You'll stay abreast of laws and regulations, leading and/or participating in customs projects and customer implementations.

As part of our Benelux Customs Operations team (alongside 10 colleagues), you'll report directly to the Customs Operations Manager Benelux. This role is based in Roosendaal (NL), with potential business travel within the Netherlands.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As a Customs Brokerage Manager, you will:

• Lead a team of 10 customs employees, supported by a customs coordinator;
• Coordinate the operational customs processes of multiple bonded warehouses;
• Engage in discussions with customer management to understand their business, challenges, and opportunities;
• Enforce and execute the CEVA customs compliance policy in coordination with the CEVA customs compliance department;
• Provide guidance on customs matters to site and area management;
• Assess the feasibility, risks, revenue, and cost of opportunities and improvements through business cases.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We seek candidates with the following knowledge and experience:

• Degree in Manager Customs & Trade Affairs (Evofenedex) or similar;
• Excellent process design skills for customer implementations;
• Incident management, such as refund claims and customs infractions;
• Fluency in Dutch and English (English-only applicants will not be selected);
• 3 years of experience in a similar role.

• Gross monthly salary between €4,241.85 EUR - €5,845.19 EUR and 8% holiday allowance (salary depends on your experience and education level);
• One-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position;
• Employment conditions according to our CEVA Collective Labor Agreement, including 25 vacation days and 5 ADV days;
• Profit sharing of up to 3% based on positive company results and a good pension scheme;
• Travel allowance;
